"Our company started as “G. AGAKOS” in 1964, taking its first steps into the world of castings in bronze, brass and aluminum. After 26 years of continuous efforts for improvement, the company, now A. AGAKOU and SONS GP – “AGAKOS METALS”, repositioned its foundry and warehousing facilities, modernized the production introducing the centrifugal method, improved the quality and increased the output. The firm established its presence in the world of industry. The company’s growth continues at a steady pace. During the past 5 years, AGAKOS METALS expanded its activities engaging dynamically in the trade of non-ferrous metals (bronze, brass copper and aluminum). The wide assortment of metals and alloys in stock gives us the necessary flexibility to meet the increasing demands of the Hellenic and foreign market. Hence, for many years, now, big companies abroad as well as public and private companies in Hellas, trust us and award our performance. Our company, besides founding, has also developed another activity. During the first weeks of 2003 , a new firm was founded, “AGAKOU BROS. & CO GP”, acting as agent for big foreign industrial suppliers of non-ferrous metals. This brought us a step further towards becoming the main supplier of trade-houses and stockists in the Greek market.
